Web Design and Development: Your Website as a Growth Platform
Catherine Allibe-Oaks. Fractional CMO, brand strategist, growth advisor.
Book a conversation with meYour website is where a referral goes to check you out, where a buyer decides whether to call, and where Google and the AI assistants learn what you do. Most B2B sites do none of that well because they were designed before anyone decided what the company stands for. I build the site from the strategy, and my SliiceXR team designs and develops it.
A website that does not convert usually has no position. It says what you do, in the same words everyone else uses, and leaves the buyer to work out why they should pick you. No amount of design fixes that. The fix is upstream.
So I start where I always start. Why should someone choose you? What does the market think you are? What should it think you are? The answers become the homepage, and the homepage sets the tone for everything under it.
Then we plan the pages. A buyer does not search for your company name. They search for their problem, their industry and the service they think they need. A site with one services page cannot answer that. A site with a page for every service, every industry and every real question can, and it is the site Google ranks and the assistants cite.
My SliiceXR team designs and develops it. Phone first, because that is where most of your visitors are. Fast, because slow sites lose people. Clear calls to action, because the point of the site is the conversation that follows.
The result is a website that works like a growth platform: it gets found, it makes the case, and it turns attention into qualified conversations.
Our process
Why Choose Us
- Built from the strategy, not from a template.
- A page for every service, industry and buyer question, so the site is found for the problems you solve.
- Written to convince a CEO, not to fill space.
- Designed and developed by one team, to the brand standard.
- Structured so Google and AI assistants can read it and cite it.

Why is my website not generating leads?
Usually because it has no position and too few pages. It describes services instead of making a case, and it has one page where buyers need many. Fix the story first, then build the pages around what buyers actually search.
How often should a company redesign its website?
When the business has outgrown the story on the page. If your services, customers or position have changed and the site has not, it is time. A calendar is not a reason.
Do you write the copy or do we?
I write it with you, from the position we set. It is your voice and your facts. I do not invent claims, numbers or clients.
Who builds the site?
My SliiceXR team designs and develops it. You work with me on the strategy and the message, and the same team makes it real.
